What We Will Be Doing
Cleaning & Hygiene
Our cleaning routines have been significantly enhanced in their procedure and frequency to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
We use cleaning products supplied by Ecolab, endorsed by the EPA in the USA and adhere to Ecolab sanitation procedures.
Public Spaces, Communal Areas
The frequency of cleaning has increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on high contact surfaces, including counters, buttons, door handles, handrails, and public bathrooms.
Every member of our team will receive training on COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Extended training will be given to our cleaning staff, therapists and those who have close contact with guests.
Our team have received training prior to their return, to ensure awareness of, and strict adherence to government-recommended practices relating to coronavirus symptoms and physical distancing. In addition, we have reviewed and consulted with our team on all of our risk assessments.
Team members will be washing their hands with soap and water every 60 minutes (for at least 20 seconds) immediately before and after going on break or starting a shift. In the absence of a sink, they will use a hand sanitising station.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Appropriate PPE (as determined by team setting, role and responsibilities) will be worn in accordance with government guidance. Training on the proper use and disposing of PPE is mandatory. Specifically you can expect our general staff to be wearing face masks and we ask that you do too. Your treatment therapist will be wearing the recommended face shield, face mask and hand gloves. No extra PPE is required of you, our guest, during your treatment.
The most up-to-date government guidelines on physical distancing is 1 metre to be maintained by our team at all times. We will stagger guest arrival times, to minimise the number of guests in the spa at any one time.
Uniforms will be washed in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Our team will be provided with sanitising products to clean and disinfect their workspaces daily. Any shared equipment and tools will be sanitised before, during and after each shift, and whenever equipment is transferred between colleagues.
Your Spa Experience
Making Your Spa Reservation
It is highly recommended that you make your spa reservation in advance, for us to prepare for your arrival.
Our guests will enter the spa and move throughout the spa through doors that are propped open to minimise physical contact made with the doors. Please follow the signage to ensure physical distancing. Upon arrival at the spa, your temperature will be taken, hands to be sanitised and changed into disposable slippers.
Changing Facilities and Showers
Our changing facilities and lockers will not be available and we ask that all spa guests come “READY TO SPA” in bathrobes and slippers from your guest room. The private changing room showers will not be in operation at this time.
Pre-Treatment Ritual / Bath House Experience
Pre-treatment rituals will not be available at this moment at the first stage of our opening. The government guidelines allowed only 1-hour treatment per guest and 1 guest per treatment room. Under the same guidelines bath, steam and sauna, body scrub and foot soak are not allowed.
In The Treatment Room
Each treatment room will be thoroughly sanitised after each guest following Ecolab’s cleaning procedures, all towels and linen replaced whether used or not. Your therapist will be wearing the recommended face shield, face mask and hand gloves during treatments. You are not required to wear any additional PPE. Of course if you feel more comfortable doing so, we will provide you with a new face mask during your treatment and after each treatment you will be given a new face mask.
Relaxation Room / Spa Retail
Our relaxation room/spa retail will not be available at this moment.
Room charges for your spa services are preferred otherwise contactless payment will be encouraged where possible.
